PRINTMAKING

Printmaking is the art of multiples. Students learn a variety of techniques and processes to repeat imagery. We work with foam stamping, embossing, linoleum block printing, monotyping, dry point, stenciling and screen printing. Screen printing is a hands down favorite each year because students get to print their own t-shirts. Although it is not required, it is recommended that students take a fundamentals course before taking Printmaking. Basic drawing skills are needed to work with these mediums.
